First off, I updated my wii from 3.2u to 4.0u using the tutorial from http://www.yafaze.com/wii/4.0updateguide.html
Do any autoboot discs work for anybody that did this same method?
I tried using the apploader template from http://hackmii.com/2008/08/open-source-app...r-iso-template/
It didnt work. I even replaced the main.dol with wad manager 1.1
It says to pad the disc to at least 1gb. I didnt do this because i dont know how.
I tried other autoboot discs from other sites too.
I have a Wiikey 2 modchip installed so that should allow autobooting.
I even tried the savemii method of holding in all directions of the d pad of a gamecube controller in the 4th port while booting.
The reason I'm asking all this is because I bricked my wii.
Also, is there a way to replace the files on the wii from a dump?
I used a filesystem dumper a month ago and I have all my files on my computer.
I heard an Infectus chip can be used to restore everything.
Does this work?
Are there any other ways?
