Hacking DLDI Patching??

this is probably really noob but what is DLDI patching?

I hear that M3 DS Real auto patch but u have to have it in the root folder?? (another nub question wheres the root folder? :S)
I have sakura firmware if that helps :S

Nope, homebrew does not need to be on the Root.

About DLDI or about if homebrews being placed on the Root?

With the newer firmware, it doesn't matter where you put the files, they will be patched automatically. Sakura, however, isn't great at actually handling homebrew in the first place, so you will want to use the triple loader's iTouch firmware when you are using homebrew (this will run alongside touchpod (original firmware) and Sakura)

DLDI is basically a standard protocol for homebrew writing to disk that allows the homebrew program to be modified easily to work with most flash carts (which all write to the disk in different ways).

The root folder is just when you open your card in My Computer. It's where you place your SYSTEM folder, NDS folder, etc.
