Gaming Discs

Hey, fellow gbatemp users.

I need some help my Wii stopped working a few years back. I have a Wii u but I was gonna try to play my Wii for the sake of nostalgia. It turns on and everything but when I put in a disc, it brings up a black screen and says please check the manual for troubleshooting options. press the power button to turn off. if u can help plz do.

Maybe your disc is non-functional. Happened to me with Super Mario Galaxy.

If none of your discs work, then you might want to replace your Wii disc drive.

Ive tried all my wii games. all the same result. and i really dont want to spend money.

A new disc drive is only like 15 bucks, I've had to replace mine twice.

rip all of your games using cleanrip on your Wii u, and run them on your Wii. That way you don't even have to use discs

one question though. will it delete the iso off of the disc? if you need to know for whatever reason, its animal crossing city folk.

Discs are read only. It will not change anything.
