TWLoader v1.3

Changes:
  • Basic file listing mode is gone.
  • Settings screen is now improved, and can be selected in the Game/App selection screen.
  • Version number can be seen at the top-right in Settings.
  • "sdmc/_nds/twloader/cia/TWLapp.cia" is fixed, so the message "Please insert a cartridge" will not appear if "Reset Slot-1" is on, and there's no card in Slot-1 when running a .nds file.

If you're using a9lh, you're already running from your 3DS's SysNAND rather than an EmuNAND.

SysNAND is the 3DS system's NAND, where the firmware is kept.
An EmuNAND is kept on the SD card.

Do you know if you are running a SysNAND or an EmuNAND? I would guess you're probably on SysNAND.
If that's true, "installing to SysNAND" just means you turn on your 3DS like normal, open "FBI" and use that to install something.

right now is i'm having trouble playing with it i'm still getting a white screen when i launch a game

Check the compatibility list, as many homebrew and DS download play games do not boot, showing only white screens or black games.

If you are trying to boot retail DS games, these won't work. So far this has only gotten as far as booting some homebrew and download play stuff.

  • Clock time is added to the top-right.
  • Improved settings screen a bit, and relaunching TWLoader is no longer required for changing GUI color.
Screenshots are added to the OP.

is it possible at all to make it work with the _nds and nds folders being inside the 3ds folder, as to keep the root directory a bit cleaner?

edit: also, tried nitrografx. its starting up now, but still crashes upon trying to run any game.
tried both speed modes too

You mean the L button doesn't turn off boxart, and the Left button can't get past the game cart?

Man this is excellent. So much DS homebrew that I've been wanting to play on my 3DS! What is the reasoning that it can only currently play homebrew and DS download stations of all things? How does it even know the difference between .nds files? If it can boot one, why not the other?

Retail ROMs attempt to read their data from the Slot-1 card slot. If the game isn't in the card slot, it will crash.
