wait so... this runs DS code/games in 3DS mode?

Still quite far. It'll take a long while, maybe before the Switch is released.

@Robz8 Thanks for granting me access to the compatibility list sheet, I'll be adding my findings shortly!
One more quick question, when I update this app to the latest version, should I install the Twlapp.cia again as well?

It crashes with a black screen and a forced system restart. I installed TWLapp.cia and the TWLoader.cia respectively and put the files in the proper locations. Help

I'll explain it in more detail:
Upon launching TWLoader, it simply shows the 3DS splash and fades away, but hangs on a black screen. I'm then kicked back to the home menu with a restart notification.
I can play games like Nintendogs and Pokemon White 2 fine, though...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite+1
for people with beefy hands. -
