My question: Will this shorten the lifespan of the LEDs?

Because they will be on all the time....lol

Or will they last forver?

What is the average life span on those LEDs?

You won't be playing 24/7 so it should last WAY more than a year. Unless the mod you are mentioning is literally ALWAYS on regardless of the on/off status of the system.
