Hey all. I've been using Dios Mios within USB Loader GX for about a year and a half now without problems. I practice Super Smash Bros. Melee on it constantly and have booted it on my USB hundreds of times. Today, I turned my Wii off and on and tried booting Melee back up. Black screen. Not even a Dios Mios splash. My USB works fine in my PC. I used a different one, Melee boots, but when I try to load 20XX TE from my memory card, the game crashes. What do I do?

Check the HDD with chkdsk and make sure it hasn't gotten corrupted. See if the game will boot with Nintendont.

I already wiped the main USB and reformatted it so I don't know if chkdsk will bring up anything. I'll boot it up with Nintendont and see what I can do.

You can try running the ISOs through the tool in my signature and make sure they're good, too.

I did use a good copy of Melee though. It's the one I use for consistent netplay online. But it was doing this with every ISO, not just Melee. It's the same conditions as above for the separate drives. I'm actually going to go pick up a USB from work soon and see if that will help too. I get them for cheap.

Should anything in the Wii get corrupted after years?
