Yes i get the Nintendont splash screen. and yeah the paths and boot.dol are both correct. Don't get it.
The most up to date versions of those apps are...

USB LoaderGX = r1253
Nintendont = v3.362

Go to USB LoaderGX.. "Settings" then go to the last page and hit "Credits". At the top you should see which version you have for USBLGX as well as the versions of any and all Loaders you have installed.

Has this issue ever been solved?? I now updated my 4.1 wii to 4.3 & now have the same problem. Dios Mios hangs on black screen. Not even going to the Splash Screen.

Nevermind, I am an idiot. I was using a hdd enclosure not supported (JMicron enclosure) as i see it works flawlessly on usb a flash drive. Kind of a weird thing because ALL wii titles are working fine. it's only Dios Mios that just gets the black screen. I am going to try the iMicro enclosure "IM25COM-BK" (as recommend) with a sandisk or pny ssd

I wouldn't use an SSD unless you have a spare one you don't need. Homebrew doesn't handle anything like trimming or volatile caching.

I needed the ssd upgrade. The old hdd made odd sounds. It was incredibly noticeable while playing Williams pinball collection.. So i got the IM25COM-BK enclosure. I can confirm it works. I never had a enclosure that worked so well with Dios Mios. I just thought my wii hated me. I also did a nand restore & did a proper softmod. Which fixed freezing on a black/green screen. Some of them Youtube tutorials on soft modding are dumb & should be avoided. I also found out i need to stay at system menu version 4.2 (this version came factory installed in black Wii Sports resort bundle) or else my usb lan adapter is not detected. It has been a frustrating past 2 weeks but i have everything figured out now. cheers :D

If you're adding and removing a lot of files on the SSD remember to connect it to your PC once in a while and run a trim on it and it should be OK.
