Hacking Dios Mios Multi Disc Loading

Hello,

Can someone please explain the exact process?
I read about putting 2 iso in the same folder with renaming of 1 of them but unsure exactly what to do.

Yes this is correct.
You need to name Disc1 : game.iso
You need to name Disc2 : disc2.iso

If you are using a loader to dump the games, it should dump and rename everything automatically, for example USBLoaderGX will detect if you already have an ISO with the same GameID and will put it in the correct folder.

Then you need the latest DIOS MIOS which allow multiDisc auto-swapping when needed (you don't have anything to do while playing).

no, it's pretty simple: disc one (or metal gear disc one) is and i quote: "game.iso" and for disc two (just read very carefully): "disc2.iso".
no naming the game. these iso's should be in: "sd/usb:\gamecube\***\" where *** is the corresponding game ID.
SD only works for "dios mios lite" edition, USB only works with "dios mios" edition.

"game.iso" IS the filename: yes, the 4 letters: "g" + "a" + "m" + "e" followed by the extension.
Same with the second disc: disc2.iso ("d" + "i" + "s" + "c" + "2")


Even simpler : use a Game Manager to put the iso in the correct folder or an USBLoader to dump your game.
