can anyone explain in simple terms what neek2o is and why i should have it?
well, first you should understand what emuNAND is. It's where you make the wii use a USB drive or SD instead of it's internal memory (NAND) and the good part is it lets you have more space.

Neek2o (like UNEEK and SNEEK) basically is where you run your system menu off of your emuNAND and is the most compatible way to run stuff. It relates to DM(L) in that you can also store and run DM(L) off of emuNAND.

In Whirl Tour, my rider seems to be some sort of three legged amputee. He looks normal on the select screen. It's listed as working in 2.6, which it is, as well as 2.8. The game is totally playable, the riders just tragically deformed lol.

...Anyone know what the latest, uncommented update does?

I'm trying to use the DML 2.8 and it doesn't work, the wii says "fatal error apploader size is zero!" i was thinking that the problem is the iso, but when i changed to an older version (DMLr59) it work normally, i installed using the wii mod and base the ios 236,

maybe it's can help for a future compatibility version ^^

this is my wii information + others files https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zj2xsgfp8rarv8l/E_FF5DXjM8 thank for your work

the game was SSBM

I think the problem here is that later versions of DML (v1.0 and up ... basically ANYTHING after that r59 you're using) have compatibility issues with certain, seemingly random, SD cards. You'll have to either stick with that version or the mod version of it ( http://www.mediafire.com/?qk17b9hubiki4v7 ), get a new SD card or switch to a USB drive ... or Devolution.

Either you accidentally installed DM instead of DML or like Maxternal said your SD is not compatible, switch to SanDisk!

Can you explain to me in a PM or something step by step how to do it? I never used EmuNAND before and I think I'm ready to start using it, mostly so that I don't need to install Quadforce everytime I wanna play Mario Kart Arcade, also to help save my space issue with some WiiWare games like Space Invaders Get Evn where the game + the DLC take up a huge space and the game is useless without DLC!

Mostly I'd just say let ModMii do that for you and then follow the readme in the DM(L) download for xNEEK+DI for installation.
For any further details I'd say to look at some of the threads created by @abdallahterro. He's made lots of tutorials and download packs having to do with the subject.

Pretty cool, what do you know he's from a near by country to my home country and from his name he probably speaks Arabic too and is most likely Muslim, thanks I'll ask him then he did help me before with DML but I didn't know he did this too!

So, suddenly cant boot any GC discs through disc channel or any backups through loaders under DM. Syscheck looks fine to me, I've tried 2.0 3c, 2.6 and 2.8, all just go to black screen (no splash). No idea when this stopped working as I haven't even turned on my Wii in almost a year. Ideas?

Have you tried reinstalling BC v6?

no, its fixed now, with the exception of disc loading. I THINK I'm on DM 2.8 now, but the issue was the loader options. I just did my tech refresh on all my consoles, and wasn't aware of the new changes since 2.6(?). I think the culprit was video output was set to system default, disc default worked however (in USB Loader GX). It's still spotty though, sometimes it turns off, sometimes no splash, sometimes freeze at splash, but I've had those problems since I started using DM

Two VERY nice little changes in the changelog in v2.9

Anybody who had problems with certain games with version 2.6 and later should try this version out (including those who are currently using the mod version) it looks like this attempts to fix them in a much more normal way.

Just wondering, I'm still on 2.2 and pretty much all the Gamecube games (apart from audio streaming) I wanted to play worked without a hitch but I know I have to update one day to play the multidisk games. Is there any game compatibility problems in later versions of DM?

There were but SUPPOSEDLY this last version fixed those. Since it's just barely been released, though, no one's reported back yet to see if that's the case or not.

go to his google page and check for yourself.
I think He meant to respond to the post AFTER yours (just hit the wrong "reply" link). Crediar said he's "working on" audio streaming, not 2.9 and he said it a LONG time ago ... but it WAS on Twitter.
