Dios Mios v2.6 released.

Log message

-updated to version 2.6-

*Reduced HDD read time out to 25 seconds
*Added two disc feature (Extracted format is unsupported)
Use the latest DMToolBox (0.3 or higher) to install your two disc games

This will be the last version for some time, since I'm moving my focus to other
things.

Always remember; Impossible is nothing!

Probably not since you can't use any NGC Controller on the WiiU
That's what this was for
--> :P <--

But, anyway, I do assume his new endeavors DO include the Wii U and, as he stated, have nothing to do with DM(L)

It would be cool, though, if the Wii U processor still can slow down to GC speeds but also leaves the 2 other cores higher end of RAM unlocked and that a Bluetooth driver could be run by one extra core emulating the GC controllers in the extra RAM space while the other core acts like the optical drive chipset and takes care of audio streaming. . . I can dream can't I ?

He just said "for some time" so it's not permanent

Also, it's still open sourced. Crediar is the expert but a mod version can still pop up and continue his work if he REALLY decides to leave it behind.

As far as I know, his custom IPL code isn't free. Yes, you can compile DM using the code from the SVN repository, but that's it; unless you know how to inject it to an existent IPL binary from Crediar, you can't really use it.

so how does this disc change actually work? is the only way through dmtoolbox? because i cant even start the program

Anyway I doubt that the few people capable to improving DM are interested in do it.

You just need to put the two ISO's in one folder. Title the first disc "game.iso" and the second "disc2.iso"

Thanks a lot! It works perfect! I tried with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes and it's simply awesome, automatic disc switching works fantastic. Crediar, you're the man!

so wait how does it work exactly u just get to the disc switch part and it does it automatically? so basically you wouldn't be able to test it until you got to a disc switch in a game?

Yes, it does automatically when the screen for switching disc is prompted. No need to press the eject button or anything.

After doing some more tests I found what you asked, if you load first disc2 and load for example a gamesave on disc1 it switch automatically. There's no need to reach the switch disc part for testing.

This doesn't seem to be working for me. Could you be more specific? I've put them in a folder with the correct names but i'm not sure what to do from there. :(
