Planning to buy a second hand switch with 2 digital games already downloaded. Splatoon 2 and xenoblade 2.

How does the switch handle multiple accounts? I'd get the unit if I can sign in with my own Nintendo account and purchase some games too while still being able to play the 2 digital games from another account.

Is it easy to sign in and out of the switch? or does it allow multiple accounts to be signed in at once? So I won't have to log into his account to play his games and go back to mine to play my games.

it asks which account you want to use whenever you start a game, and any account on that switch can play any game downloaded on that switch

Hmm I'm not sure that answer is complete. If the account that downloaded the digital game is deactivated from that Switch then the digital game purchased with that account is no longer playable.

I purchased a Switch and put Minecraft on it. Later I purchased a second Switch and migrated my account. I still have my "deactivated" account on the first Switch and the activated account on the second Switch. I can now download and play Minecraft on the second Switch but Minecraft is not playable on the first.

Wow thanks for the correction! The meaning of my post would have been totally lost without your help!

this is the main reason why the cart is better. Its playable on any switch regardless of the accounts.
