Hacking didn't format sd while following guide....Am I o.k?

I follow the guide but i moved my emunand to sysnand but I didn't format will I be ok? And what is the advantage of doing so? 'm guessing deleting the old emunand, but I did this months ago and I think is been updated cause I don't see hourglass being mention should I format it now? If I do would it make more space then yeah and how would I do this please help I have hourglass.


OT: On usbloader gx I can't download custom gamecube banners no more

Do all the same steps in the move emuNAND page but don't try to back up or restore the emuNAND. Just do the format step. There's nothing bad about not doing this, except that you have 1-2GB wasted on your SD card.
