I think I corrupted my sd card. I was using nxshell when it crashed and wouldn’t launch again (the hb menu said it couldn’t access the switch folder). I checked the folder using an ftp client and I couldn’t access it which was strange. I then plugged the sd card into a pc (I used a Mac previously) to try the archive checkbox trick but it didn’t work and all the folders seem to be read only. Everything else ran fine but after reinserting the sd card I can no longer launch my games and Retroarch crashes atmosphere. Genuine (I hope) sandisk 512GB micro sd.

What do I do? Format the sd card and re-add HATS pack? I’ve got so many games on there, it’s going to be such a pain to start again.

If your card was formatted with exFat then it's likely that a crash might have broken the filesystem.
And there is no way to fix that.
We've all been there....

Ugh I read about that and specifically used fat32. The first mistake was using it with my Mac because it added a bunch of indexing files that messed with things. Apart from that though it was okay, maybe I just got a bad card. This has never happened to me before.
