At some point last year, Destructoid began a new advertising campaign to make cash, part of this being when they released their pay to view site. Around this time, I noticed that Destructoid starting to focus heavily on Nintendo products and gaming to a very disproportionate amount, even when Nintendo was doing nothing in the media. On most days now, they can't go a day without a huge % of their articles being Nintendo focused.

What do you think? Did they sell out to Nintendo or are they just trying to milk Nintendo fans? What other sites do you think exhibit the same behavior?

If you look at their front page now, one out of their last 12 reviews is a nintendo game.
3 out of their last 25 stories are about Nintendo.

Conclusion: you're delusional or making stuff up.

They just change it obviously. I wonder if there is a site that bias in web sites.

all gaming sites are truthful and have integrity... destructoid not so much...

It depends on what you consider to be "selling out". To me, "selling out" is "giving a blatantly incorrect or dishonest information for profit or personal gain", for example giving a poor game a 10 out of 10 when you didn't actually like it all that much or hyping up a product when you know it's actually poor and not worth the attention for money and/or privileges. There's always the element of bias in the mix, there's always some personal preference, you can never be a 100% objective. What you can do is strive to be as objective as you can and good journalists, reporters and reviewers do just that. If you're seeing a sudden influx of Nintendo-related articles on the site then perhaps the people behind the portal are just interested in them or Nintendo provided them with the resources to write articles with, such as free copies etc., so they gave a shot at writing something about the Big N.
