I tried to clear Inferno even on MP0 and couldn't get through act 4 a few months ago. You know what the biggest problem is? Some of those elite mobs later in the game having absurd ability combos that destroy you. I got sick of being gibbbed by Fast Horde Teleporter Extra Health types of mobs.

anyway they changed that few patches ago where they made different suffixes harder or imposible to roll

When I played D2 I just used whatever build I thought of (I was around 5 y/o). I still beat nightmare.

actually in d2 the game only begun in hell mode, normal was tutorial mode and nightmare was easy enough.

also you can finish hell in d3 with whatever build you can though of and never using the auction house

hell in d2 and inferno in d3 are a whole different story...

To be honest the trailer looks cool. Other than that, I'm not gonna jump in the bandwagon until there is a positive feedback from people and gbatemp. You know, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. haha.

Well then I would recommend staying in the lower acts until you get some decent gear. Diablo isn't designed so that you can just jump in and expect to bust through everything.

I pretty much did the same thing, but many people older than 5 used the same build. And chances are, the build you had, multiple people had too.

I farmed acts 1-3 for weeks and didn't see a single good drop from any source that was a useful piece for me, or even for some other class. I was clearing act 3 at MP5 and getting terrible drops from bosses with full NV stacks and magic find bonuses on my gear. The problem with D3 is that there are too many stats and items that are useless for certain classes or specs, and some items had stats designed for tanking yet they could be used by non tanking classes. It would be useful if they had stat conversion like they do it WoW.
