Hi. This is my first post here and it is also my first homebrew. Here is DexterDS. It's a pokedex for the DS from a pokemon fan perspective. Therefore it does not include where to catch or different descriptions for each game. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, Wabsta and his team are making a homebrew game called: PokedexDS.

It would be neat for this and the PokedexDS project, if you had like...lore about the Mons. Maybe there's some story behind them, or maybe just random info apart from a generic 'dex entry. You know?

It would be interesting to have an in-universe description, and then a real-life description (like, talk about how Mew was the progenitor of Pokemon, and then how it was given away so many times for contests and junk). Yeah.

And, I am the crew working on PokéDexDS...
But lately school is killing me, I have worked on it a little bit, but I can't work on it as much as I could before...

Ah well, we'll see which is better

Actually, I don't really see this project as a competition, more as a "let's be friends, because we have the same hobby, making Pokédexes for nintendo DS"-ish.

How about working together as you know it takes alot of time to do these, with both of you working on this together we might get a final product quickly!!! Besides anything can happen Obama even won! (I voted for him and I'm a Republican!)

This looks cool. I'm not a fan of Pokemon really, but I would like to see how far you go with this. You should think about including info about which Pokemon are in which games and stuff like that. In the meantime though, this is very useful for those pokefans still out there.

Meh, my recent experiance of new homebrews has been rickrolls and the constant beta-offputting of NSMB2 so, I naturally say that.

I would recommend using one (or more) of the million databases online to get data from all of the games including:
-All graphical styles
-Locations/requirements to capture in all of the games (where possible)
-Multilingual support(?)
-Uhmm...trivia?

I'm not even into Pokemans and I still think the whole idea of a Pokedex is interesting. I too, thought that this had something to do with the Showtime series Dexter. Did everyone know they are working on a version for consoles and Iphone?
