Many thanks for the great work!

I just tried WindWaker and except for several graphical glitches (which I think you know about), my PAL Version of it works great. I hope you will be able to fix the issues.

Link for the loader: http://www.tueidj.net/gc_devo.zip (current release is r104)
According to the meta.xml included in the zip, this is V1.00 and released on 2012 07 10 12 00 00. Could you include version numbers in the ZIP Filename?

I have a question (sorry if it's already mentioned)...

Can I submit the addition of forcing video modes to the requested features-list?

The reason: Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 (PAL) dumps and verifies correctly. But immediately after the Activision logo, it automatically jumps to some unrecognized video format.

This may have to do with the fact that I'm using a component cable. The game gives exactly the same issue when running it through the main channel.

wiibricker read your PN and lets talk there

EDIT:
Etheboss didin't give any credits to BlackPerl and me or so, too (Joyflow)! did you see me to run to the gba hoster and send an abuse? no! and yes there are licensed for PERSONAL use only!
Really?, i didn't know it was yours :) , just found it on the internet somewhere...anyway i was not talking about the icon but about Devolution itself and GPL..

Edit, i deleted the icon anyway, because joyflow is dead...

Edit2, F*CK, i didn't realize i used my 1.000 post for it, YEAAAAAAAAH!!! :yay:

Was going to get to testing more games that aren't on the compatibility list this evening but ambien is starting to make me feel a little weird. Hoping to see it completed sooner than later.

yes, in the "Devolution Loader Path" folder which you can decide yourself where it's located by going into the Settings > User paths
By default it's : SD:/apps/gc_devo/

First, try setting your Wii in 480i.
If it doesn't help, could you try with USBgx? I allowed video mode setting in r1200 instead of always forcing interlace.
"Force 480p" fix the lag issue in james bond game when using progressive switch. (though, it was a problem only with GX)
The sample loader always force PAL 578i and NTSC 480i only. Some games may require different settings?

Hmm I think I did something wrong. None of the gamecube games are showing up on USB loader GX. I put them in the games folder on the root of the hard drive. I set the main gamecube path to that folder but they aren't showing up.

For the USB Loader GX you have to put the GC-Images in a sub-folder in the "games"-folder and you must rename the images "game.iso". The subfolder at least must have the "Game-ID" in the title.
Kinda like this: usb:/games/gamename [game-id]/game.iso

If thats all to complicated for you: simply start the USB Loader GX, put a GC game in the disc slot, wait for the install notification and install the game to the "main folder" (not "SD folder").
Then you have a good example how the GC games are installed.

I already tried with my wii on all video modes, and both on postloader* and the included sample loader (I didn't know it forced PAL 578i).

It works with a regular cable, though.

I'll see later if I can get something working with GX (note: this may take a few days). :)

EDIT: forgot to mention: once ingame, there are some video glitches as well. Parts of the level that become uncolored as you get past, the scoreboard is pretty much unreadable, and things like that (I mentioned it on the compatability list).

*postloader has no settings for it, so I assume it uses the same settings as the sample loader.

It's because your TV doesn't support non-interlaced mode over component cables, nothing to do with Devolution. Not sure why you'd put it on the compatibility list when the disc channel has the exact same behaviour...

You just explained how to set up usb loading for DIOS-MIOS.

he just explained how USBloaderGX can find the iso, or else it will not be listed.
I will change that behavior later, because the filename doesn't really need to be named "game.iso".
if it can use anything.iso it could be placed directly in the /games/ folder, but for the moment it's not possible.

You just explained how to set up usb loading for DIOS-MIOS.

Devolution has (at the moment) the same setup as DIOS MIOS in the USB Loader GX.

The difference to the Devolution Sample Loader is that some games got broken when you start them trough USB Loader GX (Harvest Moon: AWL (resets Wii) & P.N. 03 (graphic issues) for example) but with USB Loader GX you can have seperate Memory Cards for every game.

Because of this (seperate MC emulation) I start my GC games trough USB Loader GX with Devolution r104, and for the few non-working games and for reporting to the Compatibility list I use the sample loader.

I will change that behavior later, because the filename doesn't really need to be named "game.iso".
That would be great because at the moment I have each ISO placed twice. One for Devolution and the other for USB Loader GX.
And because that every "Single-Game-Virtual-MemoryCard" has the "Game-ID" in the filename there's no problem if there all in the same directory.

PS: Because I have one big partition (1TB) on my 2TB-USB-HDD for all my GC-, Wii- and PS3-Games, DIOS MIOS is no option for me (because of the 32KB-Cluster-Limitation).

240p vs 480p matters also. Some TVs only support one or the other.

Well I got the games to show up. But unfortunately they don't work. I tried about 5 of them and when I start them it just takes me back out to the Wii menu :(

Had you set GC mode to Devolution instead of DIOS MIOS?
Do you use Memory Card Emulation ("On" or "Individual")?
Which are the games that don't work (with Region Information, please)?

for example: "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life" works perfect in the Devolution Sample Loader, but in USB Loader GX it only resets the Wii and didn't play

Yep, another fairly common issue with many TVs. For instance, my parent's Sony Bravia 46" LCD TV supports 240p signals without issue, yet, my 32" Vizio LCD TV doesn't recognize 240p at all.
