I have no Modchip. Have only Hbc 1.1.0.0
With Hbc 1.2.0.0 the same.

Testet with:

Dios Mios running the Game

Usb Loader Gx Devolution no
WiiFlow Devolution no

Copied with Cleanrip on Wii
Video is 576p on a Lcd Tv with Y,C,Br

Have the Projekt Builder a Idee ?

Greats xenocracy_2001

there has to be an error on your end. the game runs perfectly, since i have the german version as well and set it up just fine. i guess you have a harddrive problem, probably the HDD. if you load devolution from any otehr place than the sample loader you need the newest loader.bin in the devolution folder. perhaps you ahve set your folders up wrongly? have you tried a different HDD?

I just recently updated from devolution r169 to r188. All my games used to work, but now every single one has the Wii LED blink 4 times then boot back to the HBC.

Hello from xenocracy_2001

I have found the Error is the Harddisc :-( , 80 GB Sata 3,5 Zoll
Ok is a 8GB Usb Stick formating with h2format at heise.de
Formate my Stick in Fat32,32kb now I can play :-)

Have @all a Ready List of Harddisc this go with Devolution ?

You could always just downgrade back to r169...

I suppose I should add a link to it in my signature, but in the meantime:
Thanks to "SNES_Master" over at WiiHacks, I've uploaded a copy of Devolution r169. This includes both the sample loader and the loader.bin for other USB loaders:

Is your MIOS clean, or it's patched?
MIOS has no effect on Devolution as it's not loaded. only IOS58 is used.

I have the same problem with r188, but I thought it was a HDD initialization problem.
I just made two logs, from SD and USB.

From SD card:

and it resets back to HBC.

My USB drive is a free agent Go, 250GO.
FAT32 on first partition, 32k cluster.
PID/VID found is fine (the one from seagate).
(I'm giving this info as my drive has some problem. sometime the drive is initialized with a different PID/VID and as OEM instead of seagate).

What is the IPC? why it's negative? Why is it expecting something else?

Is your MIOS clean, or it's patched?
My MIOS is clean.

if it blinks 4 times it cant mount your storage device. changed anything on the HDD? is your USB slot working? tryied a different device?
I haven't changed anything on my HDD, and I did just test it with a different USB drive and it worked fine.

I just put r169 back in and all my games work again. I got the wifi log from the r188 crashes, too.

Yeah, my new 500GB WD Passport resets back into the main Wii menu, whereas my older 250GB one works. Both were formatted the same way. I never tried r169 though. I really hope a new update resolves this stuff though,

Also, what does the 16:9 patch do and how do I enable it?

Also, what does the 16:9 patch do and how do I enable it?
It makes stuff look less stretched on a widescreen television.

To enable it when running devolution through another loader the other loader will (The latest PostLoader, GX and WiiFlow at least do) have an option to turn it on.

When using the sample loader there's no way to turn it on or off. It's always off on the one on the OP.
Here's a version with it always on
http://www.mediafire.com/?pqk2ewju69ai4zb
You can just put them in different folders so they show up separately in HBC and just choose which one you want to run each time.

EDIT : here's a version where you can turn it on and off in an options menu.

If you compare it to the log I posted here, it's a very similar result
I also said the same thing: a common flash drive works but my HDD doesn't with r188

Sorry for everyone who downloaded my Devolution r188 plugin.
It had a major problem and does NOT work.
I had based it off of an incomplete copy of the r169 plugin source and so it ignores the autoboot request completely but has the original menus cut out of it and used part of the path for options instead of my new argument
... SOOO it crashed every time.

I know this is what I get for not testing stuff but come on, people, report bugs plz!!! :P

Anyway, I'm removing the link to it until I can get it fixed (It's a simple fix I already have done in the code but I need to find time to sit down and compile it.)
I'll post again when it's up again.

EDIT : FIXED NOW

Just tried out the DEVO Force Widescreen tag in USB Loader GX r1211. I don't know why I assumed this, but I thought that it was just going to take the typical 4:3 output of the GC and scale it so that it displayed properly when the Wii was outputting 16:9 (pillarboxing it, with black bars on either side). Little did I know that it was going to actually render everything in 16:9! That's actually pretty cool. It doesn't work well for every game--Rogue Squadron 2 only renders terrain within the 4:3 window as an example--but for games like Timesplitters 2 or THPS 3 it's pretty cool.

tueidj is doing some amazing work with this piece of software. I'm hope he's still developing it, because I can't wait to try this out on a Wii U with a Classic Controller Pro. I also hope beyond hope that he'll be able to integrate the ability to force some games to run natively in 480p. Is there a way we can donate to this project with PayPal or something?

The widescreen patch is not his, but yeah i agree, he did some amazing things here, lets hope he still finds the time and drive to perfect it even more, like ingame wiimote support.
