Hacking DevMenu.3ds question

Yo. So my N3DS is on 9.0.0 sysnand with 9.5 emunand.

My issue is that whenever I try to run DevMenu.3ds I get a black screen and the 3ds freezes until hard-reboot


bigbluemenu doesnt work to install the cia (3.2.0 release GW)


is there anything I can do to get DevMenu to work on my current setup?

I dont believe its a faulty .3ds file (i've tried multiple different ones, same result)

Use BigBlueMenu.3ds and install the DevMenu_2x.cia in sysnand.
Then use the DevMenu_2x to install the mset cia, exit it and go back to BigBlueMenu to uninstall the DevMenu_2x

I had this problem, and you're right the file is probably fine. It turned out to be an SD card issue. I had to change both my SD cards for low capacity ones, then it worked fine.
