I’ve started working on a Wii port of Deltarune Chapter 1:
https://github.com/WiiPhoney/Deltarune-Chapter-1-For-the-Wii

This is a very early work-in-progress. Right now only a single room is implemented, and there are plenty of bugs and missing features.

Current Wii-specific features:

  • 2 player support (planned 4 player later)
  • Orientation-based controls (controls change depending on how the Wii Remote is held)
  • Textbox sounds and other effects through the Wii Remote speaker (WIP)
Work in progress:

  • Dialogue and interactions
  • More rooms
  • Four player support
  • Additional sound effects
This is being shared to document progress and get early feedback. Expect things to break.

I started work on a port of Red Dead Redemption 2 for the Wii. I have implemented motion controls and lightgun support as well as the ability to do multiplayer. In fact I should have it all working like 100% real soon. I'm just not ready to show any actual proof that I've written a single line of code.

Much like you.

My friend, what does it mean when a message appears saying "FNAF 3 Wii" followed by French numbers, then the screen flashes green, and then the game exits? I really wanted to play that version.

This is because I reused some parts of my old FNAF 3 Wii port project. I’m not really sure about the French numbers part, but I’ll be updating the GitHub with an improved version of the port soon. Keep in mind that it’s still just one room at the moment and not very playable yet.

Hey man, I saw your recent update and so far this port is working fine. Kris's room has a few things out of place, but since you're the only one doing this port, I believe it will be fine. I just wanted to say that it's working normally, I'll always comment when you bring new updates.

Hey man, everything alright? I saw your new update today and I have to say it's good. Of course it's not perfect but the implementation of the other room is really good, Kris is small and I found it funny, but...Everything is working fine so far, the controller support and movement according to the Wii Remote's position are also good... I hope this is a project you won't even think about giving up on because I want I hope this chapter gets released for the Wii, please keep up the good work on this project, and that's it, everything is perfect... I hope the next update has some music 😁

Bro really thinks Deltarune is the exact same complexity as RDR2.

It's a 2D RPG game written in gamemaker, the possibility of running it on the Wii is extremely within the scope of reality. Even for a novice programmer it's not an insane project to undertake.

Don't bother about ChibiMofo. He loves to insult every project of this kind after all.

Add him to your ignore list, you won't regret this decision.
