ROM Hack decrypting raw files

so i found the title id of the sun and moon its demo so its was able to download the data but i don't have the title key so i can't build a cia thats not bad so is there a way to decrypt the raw data title id 00040000001a7100 heres proof the title ids legit

The TitleID is real, but you can't do anything with it other than see file info. You'd need the encrypted title key and seed to be able to actually download and play the demo.

the title key is needed for it to be converted into a working cia you can still download it

What's the point of downloading it when it won't work? It can't be used, nor decrypted, without the corresponding title keys and seed.

well when the demo comes out people will have the enctitle key so you can build it to cia and not have to download again when it comes out

there never would be a cetk file... that's only for system titles

I use funkeycia.py download dlc patch always has cetk file
and that is your software

the crypto fixing relies on the seed key though, so you would need the seed. otherwise we could dump preordered games, and we wouldn't need to even worry about the seed.

i guess from scraping cdn? i keep forgetting but some nice user here made a nice page that displays all the titles in the store, by region etc. from accessing nintendo's servers, not via manual data
i'm not sure if it would be there though yet, that's why i'm curious

yep, that is because Funky/FunKey/CIAngel creates a cetk
for system titles, it is available to download from nintendo. normal things like games, no.

yeah but if we can get the data, it means it's playable.
i mean sure, it doesn't have to be like that, but that is how 3ds works etc.
for example nintendo could just encrypt the executable and not give you the key until release day, whilst the game data files are able to be read.
but no, everything is encrypted and we only get the extra key on release day.
