Hacking decrypted or unpatched?

hey guys,

i'm kinda new to downloading isos, but all i wanted to know is what is the difference (in terms of compatibility) between decrypted and unpatched games?

i heard unpatched games run smoother, but all the downloads i see on isohunt and piratebay are decrypted games. what gives?

1:1 copy's run fine for me you don't need patched games

the isos i see on piratebay and isohunt are all patched games though... will it be a waste of time if i download patched games?

no it wont be.... patched or unpatched the backup loader runs them fine.
