Anyway, I wouldn't buy a phone from DX. Why not get a phone from a provider instead? Those phones definetely look flimsy as all hell.

Yes, you can use a prepaid AT&T card on Dealextreme phones, they are unlocked, you can have any provider you want (just as long as the frequency bands are right, some phones are European-standard-only, some are USA-only, tri- and quad-band phones can be used everywhere).
