Hacking Dead Rising's not working

So a friend of mine came back to his Wii after not playing with it for almost a year now, he tries to play Dead Rising, only to see that it crashes in Wiiflow's loading screen, but every other game seems to work, he's re-installed all the ios(es) and kept them up to date. But Dead Rising still doesn't work.

Not sure what the problem is or what's causing it, so I came here to ask and see if anyone had any ideas to help.


EDIT: He said that even on his first try, the game failed to load, and THEN he updated the IOSes

Um... Are you naming the wrong game? 'Cause Dead Rising is an Xbox 360 game, not a Wii game.
