Homebrew Data transfer 10.3 to 10.4 through downgrading

So my friend. He has a 10.3 old3ds that barely works, so he bought a n3ds that came with 10.4. now, what i have to do is transfer the data from one 3ds to thr other without updating either one's sysnand to 11.0. i have a fee theories about doing this, but no idea how i would go about doing it. So, if i downgraded both 3ds consoles, made an emunand through menuhax, and updated both up to 11.0, could i transfer one emunand to the other? And then downgrade that emunand for arm9loaderhax? Idk what to do. Im rambling by this point.

Just set up a9lh on both 3dsses. The new plailect guide is much easier and faster, only takes about 1,5 hours. Then update sysnands and transfer.
