Hacking Dance Dance Revolution

People have been begging for a StepMania port to the Wii for a LONG time now.

Wouldn't it be "easier" just to insert songs into the Wii versions of Dance Dance Revolution?

There are plenty of hacks for Guitar Hero and Rock Band---

Has anyone heard of anything like this?

That would be epic, do you know if any Wii DDR game has a online shop? I think current exploits with Guitar Hero and Rock band utilize the shop that the game reads songs from another source vs the disc.

GH3 didn't have a shop option and there was a way to make a custom song game

Stepmania is ported to DanceClone, you can create your charts on Stepmania then import them on DanceClone and use whatever songs as you please since DanceClone supports mp3.

i think it can do many thing on any wii disc as far from customizing is conserned

Aren't there many hacks to previous DDR games? Inserting songs into hacked PlayStation 2s and Xboxs, I thought for SURE someone would have started something on the Wii.

DanceClone is a start... but it's still a baby right now.
No USB support means I'll have to manually select the songs I want to play on the SD card, leaving somewhat little options.
StepMania is about having endless songs at your footsteps.
But in the meantime... I'm gonna give it a try.
