The homebrew coders from the Daedalusx64 team has released the latest alpha build of their Nintendo 64 emulator project for the PlayStation Portable, DaedalusX64. The latest update of the emulator includes some minor changes, the usual cleanups and several other bug fixes to improve the stability and performance of the program.

Changelog:
QUOTE said:
[!] Opps reverted changes NativeTexturePSP from last commit( cause several games to crash )
[+] Added (user-mode) kernel buttons library ( Props Nintendoboy13 for making the lib ! )
[+] Implemented early support to hook pause menu to home button to emulator( needs alot of work, really buggy)
[!] Disabled Callbacks...(Otherwise we get annoyances with Home button)
Note : To exit the emulator you must press SELECT in romselector (I'll add a fancy tooltip later..)
Note(2) : Make sure to put kernelbuttons.prx at the same directory as Daedalus.

It does run but you need to set it correctly for it to run at a playable speed. I went frame refresh and frameskip 2 (or something)

They update like every 2-4 days. You should post the news when they release a major update.
pfft. Last version on filetrip was like...last year.

Filetrip's not even a year old?

I gotta try this emulator

Wow, this is kick ass actually, I randomly been using this emulator and I see this topic with a newer version. O.O

I always see constant updates uploaded on QJ, so I'm not surprised. I'm just gonna wait until they make a major breakthrough (And until I can find my PSP) before I'll try it out.
