Just curious what the general opinion is with the CycloDS microSD reader that comes with the kit.

Any good? Worse\better than the R4 one? I recall the R4 one was pretty awful and ate MicroSD's for lunch.

SHould I invest in a separate MicroSD reader?

thanks!

I'll take this one folks....

It's okay. It hasn't eaten my 2 gig Japanese Kingston, if that is what you are asking, however, I haven't used it that much as I have a built in reader in my desktop (I used it a bit on my laptop, but... lappy died, unrelated to Kingston usage... EEEPC is looking to replace that old Inspiron in the very near future).

So yeah, it's fine, it didn't screw up, set anything on fire, or corrupt the data. It supports the SDHC cards too. And it's free.

I use my R4 Micro SD reader a ton, and I've never had a corruption

. Of course, I back up my whole card like every week, just in case :].
