Hacking CycloDS/Acekard 2/Acekard RPG?

So I'm getting a new flashkart now, if you could vote and explain which of these you'd get I'd be much happier

I already have a Scds1 v2 and an EZ Flash IV Lite Deluxe.
I would buy a Scds1 v3, but I've decided to wait until they release a v4.

My AK2 is on the way, but I currently have a CycloDS and an R.P.G.

Without considering price, I recommend the CycloDS. Although at $25 (DealExtreme) the AceKard 2 is harder and harder to skip over.

No one needs more than one, or even one for that matter. For me, it has just turned into an addiction. I'm a techie so I love playing around with these things. I figure if I ever need to get rid of them I shouldn't have too much of a problem finding friends/etc. that would like one.

Same here! They're just too darn cheap to not buy a bunch and fool around with them. Whenever I buy a cart, another one is released just a few days later that has another nifty feature I want to try out.
I'm still waiting for that one perfect cart that has every feature I could ever want. Until then, I'll just keep buying the ones that sound interesting (and cost less than 30 bucks).

Acekard 2 is cheap, yet very good.

Acekard RPG is much more advanced, and has open sourced firmwares. It also has dual memory, for more memory. But 80 dollars.

CycloDS is full of features, and a great team supporting it. Well worth the price.

In the official Gbatemp review I've read that Acekard RPG lacks in features, has any new features been added since that's worth mentioning?

Price isn't really a problem, I just want a good flashkart.

Just buy a CycloDS. If it's features you want, it can't be beat.

The Acekard R.P.G is touted because it has 1GB of flash memory on board (along with a microSD slot). There isn't much advantage to that because the performance of faster microSDHC cards (i.e. A-DATA 4GB Class 6) is nearly as fast.

Your opinion. I own one and it is my least favorite. It may work "well" - but it doesn't mean I want to use it versus the other carts I own.

Go for the Acekard 2

Just $25, it does the things as it should be, have the standard features and support, so why bother to pay more for a flashcard?.....

More features sounds cool, but believe me, those CycloDS features (most of them arent even useful...) isn't worth your money......

The one thing that have kept me so far from buying the CycloDS is that you have to soft-reset from the enhanced menu and not just by using a buttoncombination.
