Another one: http://www.amazon.co.jp/デイテル・ジャパン-3DSLL-3DS用-プロアクセーブ/dp/B00CR9W6T0/ref=sr_1_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1368457876&sr=1-4 This ones by Datel. This one can only be downloaded and looks like there's no advance mode

also, cybergadget is a pretty reputable one, them taking other works and making it theirs or not is another thing. Meaning, they have released editors in the past. they been around since gold finger days from what i remember. most of there advertisement comes from Gamelabo

Talking about Pokémon, for DS there was a program that emulates the GTS, could some program like that be created for X/Y??
No because of the 3DS encryption when doing online interactions, DS didn't have that. What we can hope for now is a revamped save encryption for future games.

Wait wait wait, before I get too excited about this... what about sticking the game saves back on the cartridge? Is this device claiming to be able to do that?

I don't care at all for save editors, I just want to be able to back up and restore my 3DS games (namely Harvest Moon: A New Beginning right now, and Pokemon when it comes out) so that I can have multiple save files...

Well obviously since you have to dump the save to edit. There's already the R4i dongle, look up if it's compatible with HM:ANB. Pokémon doesn't work with the R4i, but there's a possibility it will be possible to bkp Pokémon saves with the cyber gadget one. The R4i dongle might get an update.

Well, as I understood it, the issue with the r4i save dongle was not dumping the save file. The issue was restoring a save file to the cartridge, because of the encryption. It wouldn't work. I mean the fact that they have a save editor must mean the encryption has been broken? Like I said, I just didn't want to jump to any conclusions and get excited only to find that I've misunderstood the capabilities of this new device.

That's what they're claiming at least, note that this is save encryption only.

Oh yeahh, now I can hack flawless gen VI Pokemon. :)

Goodbye breeding, Nintendo needs to revamp the encryption, but these company's seem to keep breaking it.

Everyone seems upset that the encryption has been broken. I understand most of us are not happy about seeing gamesave editors, but is no one else happy that with the encryption broken we can make backups? :(

Fuck anyone that wants to edit Pokemon X and Y (and all generations really) saves. Or at least if you do, don't go using any of your illegally acquired pokemon/edited stats in wifi battles and trading. It seriously ruins the entire point of the series.

When I was 11 I thought it was cool to cheat to have all the pokemon at really high levels in the original games, as I grew older, I realized how truly lame that was.

I'm surprised they're only marketing this for JP though. It wouldn't be much more work just to make it support all regional versions of a game, as the saves are practically identical across regions, and it would increase their sales tenfold.

Maybe the encryption is different for different regions and they've only managed to break Japan?

Wouldn't there be a decent chance of a save game exploit now?
You mean additional save game exploits? Yellows8's save exploit was never patched with the update -- just the kernel vulnerability.

Speaking of which, yellows8 seemed pretty excited about this thing on IRC this morning. :)

my question is two different companies, one Datel (Japan) one cybergadget, are releasing save editors at the same time. how does two different companies know about this and where did it leak from (cause both companies usually base it off someone else's find). Both are prerelease...so I'm very lost here...was there some news somewhere about something being exploited anywhere...i frequent japanese boards often but never heard of this news.
