I'm having a bunch of trouble getting cxmb themes to work
frown.gif

I'm using 5.00 m33 firmware and as far as I can tell, I followed the instructions properly, but nothing happens

I copied the cxmb and seplugins folders to the root of the card, and the random.ctf to the THEME folder (and a bunch of ctf files from the net).
I reset the PSP and set cxmb.prx [VSH] (Enabled).
Then when the psp is booted up, I select one of the custom themes, the psp tells that I will be replacing the curent custom theme etc.

but once that is all done... nothing. I still see the normal standard theme.

Where did I go wrong?

You dont really need that random.ctf
and it should work. When you set the theme the psp restarts and your theme will be done.

Have you got the right cxmb?

If you're on 5.00M33-6 then you need the appropriate themes and CXMB for that firmware...they're no all interchangeable. Same thing goes for GEN, although there are conversion tools.
