Hacking cut legs or not?

does anyone know if this dvd drive has cut legs or not, if it does what do i do, i'm kinda n00bie in the wii scene

and please dont refer me to that wii tracker thing cause that said i had d2b when i have dms

EDIT: Sense your Wii isn't a D2B it probably will not have cut legs.

Its a DMS chip. I don't think those ever have cut legs...

Rotate the drive 180 degrees and take another picture

Ah, the legs are cut on the other side of the chip. Same side as the soldering points.

YES!!.
im not sure if its true but i heard you need to drill into the pcb or something to mod a cut leg one, not sure if that's true though.

You have to grind in that chip you just took pictures of, the one that says 'GC2-DMS' IF you have cut legs. If you don't than you can proceed with a normal install.
