Was R4 the first SLOT 1 solution for NDS? I bought my DS at end of 2007 (at that time SLOT 1 solution were predominant), so I don't know which flashcard started it.

Want to know if the fame of R4 name derives of that too.

No it wasn't I think it was te NinjaDS or something like that.
