Has anyone else had success actually using the Luma boot.7z from the main post? I thought I followed the instructions correctly but, not only does it refuse to load the plugins I put in plugins/<tid>/plugin.plg like the OP says it's supposed to, but it also appears to break attempting to load NTR plugins the normal way too. Cheats simply refuse to load. (no green flash, not able to pull up their menus, but game still loads OK otherwise)

You need to "Enable Plugin Loader" in the Rosalina Menu. Press L+Down+Select to bring it up before you run a game. If that doesnt work the way you have your folders set up is probably the culprit. You can just have "plugins/ActionReplay/ActionReplay.plg" which will work for all games and is much more convenient. Also means you can run separate plugins from this fork of Luma, normal Luma and NTR.

Hi. I noticed that when I am using the boot.firm to load plugins, FBI also flashes green when opening it and it then crashes. But when i put pack the old boot.firm it works fine again. Is there a fix to this?

Using o3ds xl 11.6
Actionreplay.plg also inside the sd card.
FBI is updated as well

you can disable the plugin before using fbi, when your done re-enable the plugin loader

Hi, would you please tell me where should I copy the file ‘CTRPluginFramework.plg’? Sorry if it's a noob question, but I'm really drawing a blank here.

I have a pretty cool setup, I use fastboot3ds and have it set up to load luma9.0 on boot, and have it set to load the ntr luma firm when booted with R held down

Use this

*The right location should be SD:/luma/plugins/ActionReplay/ActionReplay.plg

Use the action replay plugin, not the other one

Thank you, it didn't work because it was in the wrong location.
Now, about the cheat file itself I can put it either in the same folder of the plugin (which should be SD:/luma/plugins/ActionReplay/) or in SD:/cheats/<tid>.txt, correct?

We need some FAQ or something to help people :) @Nanquitas

Are there any ways to convert a plg to a gateshark code? all results I could find were the other way around.

when you load a homebrew with Nanquitas fork of luma, you get a crash, before loading a homebrew, go into the rosalia menu with Select+Down+L and "Disable plugin loader" then boot your homebrew

Hey all,

I just installed NTRBoot selector as a .cia on my O3DS, Do I have to uninstall that first before I can install or use CTRPluginFramework?

I'm having a problem getting this to work. I have a O3DS XL with Luma v9.0 installed.

I have placed the boot.firm from Luma3DS 9.0 - Plugin loader.zip into the root of your SD card on the root of my SDCard
I have put sd:/luma/plugins/ActionReplay/ActionReplay.plg
I have put 0004000000030800.txt under sd:/cheats

In Rosalina the enable plugin is enabled by default and I cannot change it.
When I load up my game, I do not see a green screen like I did with the NTRBootselector, so when I'm in the game I press 'select' and nothing happens.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I noticed when I replaced the boot.firm from Luma3DS 9.0 - Plugin loader.zip and go into Rosalina it said I'm on v8.1.1

No. Just stop.
An ntr plugin is compiled code. If the cheat's function is complex, then it won't be possible to convert to a gateshark code. Plus gateshark2ntr plugins are hard to reverse engineer, not engine....
Edit: Take this reply with a grain of salt. But please stop spreading misinformation. If you don't know about something, then don't tell them.

With the action replay plugin you should always have a green screen flash regardless of having a cheat.txt, something isn't right, try again with the instructions, and make sure it isn't trying to load another plugin

Under my sd:/luma, I have payloads, plugins folders and under plugins I have ActionReplay folder and under that I have the Actionreplay.plg file. Not sure what else.
When you go into the Rosalina menu does it say Luma v8.1.1?

What's your 3ds firmware version? Note that these only works for 11.4 and above.

I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though

@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway

    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves

@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea

@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)
