CTA Digital unveils Nintendo 3DS peripherals

Over the past two months, CTA Digital has rolled out innovative accessories for the Xbox 360 as well as the PS3 slim and its controllers. Now shifting focus to the portable gaming arena, the company reveals a wide range of peripherals fashioned exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. The plethora includes starter kits, color coordinated cases, speakers, charging docks and retractable pens.

All games and accessories as well as the device itself are safely protected and can be safely ported around with the latest options that also add to the owner’s personal style. They can opt from colorful silicone skins, zip-up EVA-style or luxurious leather cases and hard plastic or modern metal shells. The latter sports special cutouts for accommodating the device’s camera, ports and controls.

Of course they do. Haven't you heard that MadCatz is the official peripheral developer for the 3DS? It was announced like a month ago.

Layton 5 would definitely come to America/Europe, it's quite popular. Odds are they'll get 4 out on the DS this year (it'll probably be the last noteworthy DS game after the 3DS launch) and get Layton 5 out in 2012. Just my guesses.

The hand grip thing seems pretty appealing, I still need to get one for my PSP. Looks like it'd stop my hands from fucking breaking every time I use it. It's not really a problem with the 3DS, I just have big hands that cramp easily. Had the same problems on my DS and PSP.

English Layton 5 screens were on Nintendo's press kit back when the 3DS was unvelied at E3.
And that picture uses one of them. At that time, the screens they showed had 2D portraits during conversations, such as the one shown there, the final game has 3D models.
So... in reality there's no leaked announcement of it or anything.
