"The specs are very good. It's a challenge for designers, but once thought through it can add value, and that's what ultimately important. Our guys in Nottingham, they are very happy with their tests on the dev kits and they're excited about it." - founder Avni Yerli[/p]

    Source.

Atleast this got me more optimistic about the devkits, which had a depressive rumor flying around.

Challenge for devs = likely less shovelware

    Just speculation.

Wasn't it just within this last month that developers were unhappy with the devkits?

I smell some bullshit. Since E3, we have heard nothing about Wii U that hasn't been anything but rumor. Hopefully next year Nintendo will be more aggressive in their campaign for the Wii U since they will no longer have to promote the 3DS so hard.

was merely rumour, but any interview i have been with developers only seem to praise how easy it is to develop for

Makes me wonder where the "dev hell" rumor truly started.

    Nice to hear this.

It's bring marketed as a 'next gen' console anyway. [IMG]

I hope not. I'd rather not have to buy a new console to play the sequel to my favorite game series.

So, you'd rather play it on the PS2, or on the GC ? [IMG]

I don't think there's ever been a Time Splitter for PS3/360/Wii, that's why I asked; personally I played all of them on the PS2 and GC.
Since the franchise has to make a jump to a next gen platform anyway, it might as well be on the Wii U.
Frankly, I think the Wii is underpowered at this point to make it justice.
