Hacking Creating backups

I want to create a backup of wario shake diminsion for a friend of mine, does this game come with an update? and how would I remove the update if it did?

Oh and can I use img burn to make the back up?

Eyvery Wii game contains an update, i think even Wii Sports contains an update.
