Hacking Question could this be possible?

hi at the moment i have no sd card. but just outa curiosity, i was thinking, i have a NAS and run pc games directly from it. Now that we have emunand and alot of control over the boot chain is it possible to impliment an sd card lessw solution in the code of hekate to boot an emmunand from network? i realize i would still need to make 1 but if the same thing i thought of is indeed possible then making an emmunand from a pc would be as well. too bad i don't know coding or i would try to make it myself for the bounty. i do understnd ftp is possible but i beleive the speeds are too slow. i have gigabit home network with wireless ac 5gz. and its verry fast but i know the switch isnt on the ftp apps ver.ry quick i can get a usb to lan cable to increase speed but only when docked.... couild we at this stage make this a reality? and if its made i believe it would be def bounty worthy.. no more need for sd cards. even i hope the creators of hekate kosmos atmosphere and reinx exen sx os read this idea and at least consider it now that emunand is possible. hell even sx os has usb hard drive support. if i could store my emmunand on that that would work too as i have a ssd i can use. thankyou

You dont need to be offensive. OP' s idea might be weird but think of you dont need to buy sd card, directly use your pc' s hdd. And some countries buy sd cards hardly (taxes, etc).

Still wierd request. The loadtimes would be horrible!

But I believe it is not possible (yet) since the loaders direct to a recovery that is supposed to be on the SD

i was actualy mainly refering to loafing the emunand via the nas kinda like how a scusi network server works it can be done in linux and the switch is a linux system essentualy.... the example i can think of that best sums it up almost like a seedbox server. but made on a local nas with scusi options... i only am what i would cal a semi intermediate linux user so i have no idea how to make it but they should be close enough in simularity to do it... espesialy if you can install linux on the switch or even android.... idk

also reinx claims no sd card needed but is very vague on how to use it that way. any explination that goes deeper would be helpful as my switch isn't banned but i don't care if it is... at this point with the servers for banned users its null and void.

as far as i9 can see i believe to run reinx without sd card isnt tru due to the payload zip coming with folders i will try to run it and see what happens
