Hacking Could BootMii do something like this in a future update?

OMG OMG please do right to the folks on Hackmii blog and ask them it would be alot of fun for us all! hahahahaha

that seems like a logical question but if you knew how these people are...oh man...lol

They really get that mad over USB Loaders? Do 80% of USB Loader users really use their Hard Drives really use them for piracy? This just shows why people should pay for their games (My USB Loader games were ripped from my original Wii discs).

An awful lot of people do use them for that purpose. And it's mainly for that purpose that they were written. But either way TT doesn't want to be associated with loaders so it's a moot point.

Ok, Team Twiizers doesn't want to be involved with USB Loaders, but couldn't USB Loader support be added unofficially since it's open source? The only reason I could have any idea on why no one should do that is that Team Twiizers could want to stop development of BootMii because they don't want to be associated with USB loaders in any way/shape/form, even unofficially associated.

In my opinon the most funny thing, when discussing about things like loaders, are people that have those legit reasons to use them. Are there really that much people that need to run backups of games they actually own in original to conserve the disc? Or those guys that want to prevent their drive lasers from getting damaged? Yeah there are in fact reasons to use some kind of loader without pirating - do I believe any of this? No!
By the way, I use some loaders myself for the purpose they are made for (comfort, keeping my discs and hardware safe,...)

Just another little question. I dumped all of my original Wii games and made backups of them. Now someone break into my house and stole all the originals. Now I just have my backups left, is this ok, or do I have to destroy the backups since I don´t own the originals anymore

See? This is what I think. The use of apps like Neogamma or cIOSCORP are more associated with piracy IMO. I think USB Loaders are more legit than things like that. The only reason I can imagine people using burned discs on the Wii for is piracy or for people who want to use modded versions of games they own (Guitar Hero/Rock Band Custom song discs, game translations) and can't afford a External USB drive or don't think it's worth it to buy one just to play one game.

Ok, I have Preloader installed now and almost everything is great, but I set preloader to autoboot to USB Loader GX and now I can't get back to my system menu. Whenever I try to load the system menu, it just takes me back to USB Loader GX. Is there a preloader settings app I could get that would let me boot into the Wii System Menu? (Something like the BootMii Configuration Editor)

There should be another setting in preloader called something like return to: which you should set to system menu if you want to be able to go back to it. Right now it's probably set to return to preloader or something which is autobooting the file for USB Loader GX. You don't need a different app to change the preloader settings. Just hold down reset when you turn the Wii on so that you get to the preloader settings and can change it again like you set it to autoboot the file in the first place.
