Hardware Corrupted save files (Gamecube)

Sorry this is posted under Wii, I couldn't find a Gamecube section.

My 1019 memory card corrupted, apparently is "damaged" (most likely from my Wii overheating it) and won't play save files. I used my media launcher to transfer the save files over to a different, working memory card, but it still says the save file is corrupt. Is all hope lost? All of my pokemon are on my corrupted save file of colosseum

Any help at all would be much appreciated!

i hate to say it but, all hope is lost probably. once its corrupted that's it. no saving it
if u dont believe me just try google, i dont think you'll find anything helpful

the only thing i can is, if you can, back up your saves onto another card (your most important ones) for next time

GCN MemCard Recover is only designed to recover files from a memory card with a corrupt filesystem. It can't fix corrupted save files individually, since most file formats aren't known. (Those that are known are usually only partially known, enough for basic tinkering.)

My F-Zero GX save files are corrupted but all my other games save files seem OK so I guess I'm stuffed then. I should have got an official memory card instead of a cheap Play store branded one.
