I just found my old save file in my flashdrive, however the game is not detecting it because my game only shows the New Game, can i still save this .sav file?

You could try copying the contents of the flash drive with this:

It's a copy utility with some recovery aspects. Believe it or not, flash media isn't a great way to store files.
