Okay, so...

Kirby Superstar Ultra crashed after I completed the first stage (as I've now found out is a common problem (grr, wish I'd known before!))

After resetting my DS (M3 Simply) my games folder seems to be corrupted. -The folders are inaccessible, with garbled names like ":x{cf╝ê0.¶", "╗╝ß=¤┼ïæ.Ý ", "╗Ô6ıü╬:.ùƒ" etc.

Anybody have any ideas at all as to how I can rescue my save files etc.?
(I have no recent back ups... I know... in retrospect, I wasn't really thinking ahead, but I hadn't considered this happening.)

-The thought of loosing all of my game saves is somewhere in-between an annoying inconvenience and a bawwws worthy tragedy.

Any ideas at all? Or are all my games now dead?

Cheers.

you can try running a checkdisk from "computer" or "my computer" (depending on windows version)
if that doesn't recover some .sav files they are gone for sure.

Also, please do some defragmenting the media storage, in my experience, this will keep your files from grave will be arranged and will not damage your real file~

never defrag your msd cards. doing so will write, erase, copy and paste a huge number of times per media device. msd cards are only good for about 10,000 read/writes. if your card is fragmented, format it and put everything back on in 1 copy/paste.
