lol do you order dominoes and replicate it untill the cows come home? . . . comparing digital media to tangible items does not work. true you own the game disk (unless otherwise authorized by the licensing agreement you cant copy or edit it) . . . disk being the operative word here this also extends to pure digital content as well . . . the next time you go to start any of your supposedly legal "personal backup" on your 3ds open the manual and read section one here is what you will find . . . "Except as authorized, copying of any Nintendo software is illegal and is strictly prohibited by domestic and international intellectual property laws." . . . you were saying . . . ?If you go to the store and buy some food, it belongs to you. There's no license. Same with games.
say it with me . . . intellectual propertyIt's no longer theirs
the same game manual goes on to say ( in the very next line in fact)Don't share it, you're good.
""back-up" or "archival" copies are not authorized."
