Hacking copies

hi

this is a noobish question but I wasn't quite sure of the answer...

do i need to have my wii chipped to play copies of games

eg; i copy wii sports with nero will it work on an un-chipped wii???

The wii needs a chip to play them. Also Nero cant back up Wii games, they are structured in a way the PC cant understand. The only way is with certain older models of LG DVD writers and some specific software that dumps the data directly from the DVD drives buffer(I think thats how they work, could be wrong)

Yup, either LG DVD writers or from the DVD buffer to a SD card on the gamecube memory card port -with a Gecko like adapter-.
