And i respect your opinion. Also so far, there isn't any use for converting roms to cia, cause no one found a way to actually make it work with DSI firmware am i right?

Right, I just really wanted to play pirate---- I mean legally dumped roms on my DSi w/out a flash cart

U can covert to CIA but thereafter your CIA DS game will need the cart inserted because it will try read the game from there.

Just get a flashcart, nds card is pretty much as legit as it gets, and multiple users can back up me in saying that they are legitimate. They have free world wide shipping, and the best prices. I would advise getting a r4i gold rts, which is $15. If you want the cheapest possible cart, get a dstt, which is $7. If you are worried about security of your data, just use a visa prepaid gift card.

nds-card.com is legit (GBATemp's official sponsor) and a lot of the cards there are super cheap.

Do what? convert "3DS ROMS TO CIA" Or Convert "NDS ROMS" To Cia? Cause that is what he is asking about. NDS not 3DS

No, it dumps the rom from the cart. The new .cia dump is for 3DS carts, it's nothing groundbreaking, just all automated and removes the need for a computer.

Too bad it can't directly install without first dumping cia, that would be better, along with the save data.

Yes, as I said, it dumps the rom from the DS card. The .nds file.

Ah. Didn't read the title close enough. Glad we can actually DUMP the DS carts now without a computer + homemade hardware!

So how was people dumping NDS roms before 3ds? A rom copier for nds cartridges like the powersaves dongle?
