Hacking Convert GBA saves from G6 Lite format

I'm using a DSTT (running YSMenu) with a EZ 3-in-1 in slot 2. I used to have a G6 Lite and have a bunch of saves I backed up. I've been trying to convert them so I can use them, but when I boot up a game the save data isn't there.

I tried using the online savegame converter, converting from G6 Lite format to DSTT format, but no dice. Presumably it's only for DS saves. I also tried just changing the extension from .0 to .sav, just in case they used the same format.

Any ideas?

No need to convert, just change the extension of the file from .0, .1, .2 or what ever to .sav. If you already have them to .sav make sure you have it in lower case letters.
