I know its a lot to ask but can someone make a control pad.
I heard that it is not going to be dual control and I like it dual control.

For now i just have to hope it gets dumped on this month.

Thanks.

Control pad? For the DS version? I think the DS can handle Geometry Wars quite nicely: you move with the Dpad and you use the touchscreen to control your aiming, at least that what it looks like

I'm quite sure they'd include an option to use the buttons, for the people who like it that way better.
Personally, I think touchscreen control is great.
And anyways, even if they don't include dual control, someone could probably hack it in, similar to the Zelda hack. I guess.

How would using the control pad work?

You would only be able to shoot up down left right, unlike using a joystick on a console version.

...no...
control pads nowadays can move in diagonals too.
Hope this is easier than GeoWars DS, couldn't even beat lvl 1 in that :S

Thats pretty sad

I still hold the highest score for Mission 10 on the leaderboards

Im pretty sure Geometry Wars will play just like GeoWars in controls, except it'll probably be alot harder.

If it doesn't allow for ABXY button firing, then I will consider this game lame. I played GeoWars and I didn't like the touchscreen firing at all. Being left-handed, steering with the buttons seemed backwards. They BETTER offer multiple control solutions. And if they don't, I hope a code hacker can force it in through AR codes.

I don't think this game is going to be very good myself. What made the original great was the way it warped the grid background. I doubt the DS version will do this. If it doesn't, that's another strike against it in my book and they should have just made a Robotron game for DS, since that's about the same thing anyway. Without the grid warping, half the psychosis of the game is gone. IMO.

And here I thought it was for being a solid, fun game! Silly me.

This game is basically Asteroids on crack. And that's a good thing.

They included different control schemes so hopefully you'll be able to enjoy it.

About the warping background: It was a pretty cool graphical effect but it doesn't really change the gameplay at all. It' still a very fun game without the warping...
