If you cannot find a way to connect your DS to WiFi there might still be hope.
Step one: make sure you have a special router with a network called "<networkname>-Touch"
Step two: Tap the top of your router to activate the guest network
Step three: Open the game of your choice and find the access point
Step four: Change the DNS settings to
Primary: 164.132. 44.106
Secondary: 1.1.1.1 (8.8.8.8 if that doesnt work)
Now you should be online
If you get errors be not afraid, on lots of games you just need to turn off the DS then power it back on, or try tapping the top of the router a single time (not multiple) and wait about 30 seconds then connect
