For those interested in Prince of Persia, it has a new IOS detection. It's already been located and patches are being prepared, so just wait for those. It also seems like we might be at the stage that every new game is going to require its own patch, so caution is being taken on this one before release.

Not for use with Cfg, no.

You may have stubbed IOSes in the 222 and 223 slots. You need to use AnyTitle Deleter Mod or Dop-Mii to delete those stubs and then reinstall IOS222/223. You can get a link for ATDM on the IOS249 page and for Dop-Mii on the upgrade page.
Thanks for the reply. Currently looking at Dop-Mii under IOS36 and both IOS222/223 say stub. For IOS222, it says not currently installed so there is no option to uninstall. What should I do about this particular part?

As for IOS223 v65280, this is also a stub and installed version 4. Should this be uninstalled to clean it all out and install again?

If I should be using ATDM instead, can I have some instructions? Should I always be looking under IOS36 correct?

OK, one thing about Dop-Mii is it is telling you the most recent version that is on the Nintnedo server is a stub, not necessarily that the installed version is a stub. Just use it to delete whatever IOSes are there and then try to install again. You should be using IOS249 to install them.

I still need help on this. the kids are feening for the wii... any ideas?
OK, I still don't know what the problem is, but reinstall IOS249 and IOS222/223 and try again. Treat this as if you just updated your Wii via the official update

I guess the girls did something that forced an update on the wii maybe. I coulda sworn I was at 4.1. Anyhow. Followed your directions, took advantage of the opportunity to get to 249v19 from v14 (may have caused the issue?). All is well now! CFG started right up after deleting and reinstalling 222,223,249,250.... though I don't remember installing 250 back on... ... seems things are workin...im watchin Firefly episode 1 on netflix through CFG right now..

Thanks a bunch... Just needed someone to tell me to just re-install....

Thanks again Dr. Clipper! Found out the problem had something to do with the 222/223 installer having difficulties downloading and using the appropriate files and even had problems in offline mode.

Any one had problems loading Red Steel 1? I have the PAL version and it had worked on earlier versions of cfgUSB but now it just loads "Licenced by Nintendo" without the safety screens and hangs. Tried with 249 and 222-mload settings.

Hi@all,

a vital sign from me.

Where oggzee is gone? Has he left the project?

Cu,
Narolez
Oggzee's still in chat, occasionally. He just doesn't have much time right now to post here.

Oh, and 57b3 will be on the way soon. Large theme downloading is fixed and theme previews should be ready soon too.

I am a great admirer of your work, configurable usb loader is simply the best!!

Thanks for your hard work on this.

Welcome back Narolez!I am glad you are here!

In other news,is it certain that the only way to play PoP FS using Configurable usb loader is a future fix re-release,or there are is still some hope?

Also there's no such thing as a cIOS249!
I suppose I should use another term, but when I myself say that it's to refer to Wanikoko's IOS, as opposed to something made by Nintendo.

If you want to say cIOS, just use the term cIOS, or IOS249, both is shorter anyways...

Actually, the fix probably won't need a rerelease, but yes, there is no way to play the game right now with Cfg (except disc loading).

Thanks for your answer,Dr.Clipper!(And congrats for all you have accomplished till now!)
You mentioned that the fix won't need a rerelease and this troubles me.Do you mean that a specific patch will be released and we will put it in the iso manually with WiiScrubber?
(I am new to the scene, sorry if my question is silly...)

I guess he meant, that a software update will fix the Pop2 problem.

But just to be clear - you cant play it from disc, without a modchip.
Playing it on Neogamma , using a softmodded wii, is just leading
to the same error.

What I meant is that we've already had the patching mechanism in the loader for a very long time. No games have needed it yet, though. As for the patch itself, don't congratulate me. Those that know my posts would know I wouldn't be touching a pirated iso with a ten foot pole. Somebody else figured all this out and is doing all the testing right now. I won't be able to do any testing of my own for at least 2 days when the game releases here.

And when I said play it from disc, I meant after buying it, of course.

Nice to see you. I was afraid you've left the project. Nice that you're just too busy ...

Team CFG & WiiPower, keep up the good work! GX is buggy, Wiiflow is buggy now (it's a shame), CFG & Neogamma rocks!

i would love too - but unfortunatly it's too long to wait until games like Pop2 and SMG2 are available in retail stores...

PAL Date for SMG2 is the 13 of june, but ntsc is out on 23 of may - who the hell can wait that long?!

but would be nice to keep us posted, how the work on the patch goes.
